A 2002 graduate of Cornell University, Ms. Blum attended Yeshiva University's Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 2005. She then began her legal career working with the Legal Aid Society as a staff attorney before joining a prominent area law firm, where she gained invaluable experience with criminal and family law.
Ms. Blum is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and she is an active member of the New York Criminal Bar Association, among her other professional affiliations. She also serves on the advisory board of It Could Happen To You, a criminal justice reform nonprofit.
